The second game from SNK bigger than 100 Mbits was released in 1992, and yes, it was the SNK answer to Capcom’s Street Fighter II.
Fatal Fury 2 starts after the event seen in the previous game, Geese Howard has been defeated but another mysterious man is sponsoring the new King of Fighters tournament and later in the story it will be revelead that his name is Wolfgang Krauser, a Geese Howard half brother (sorry for the spoiler).
Now there are 8 playable characters and 4 new bosses.
