(SFC) Dragon Ball Z

2D fighting game developed by Tose and published by Bandai in 1993.
The first Dragon Ball game on Super Famicom includes 8 playable characters but other 5 can be unlocked. The game introduced the split screen feature to solve the problem that in the anime often a long distance is used to prepare powerful attacks and allowed the player to dash into the opponent to knock them down, a feature that will be removed in the following entries.
Dragon Ball Z was not released in North America.
