(PS1) Ridge Racer Type 4

The last chapter released on PS1 and probably the best : graphically improved and looking almost as good as Gran Turismo, Ridge Racer Type 4 has an enormous number of unlockable cars (over 300) that can be earned by playing through Grand Prix mode : each race has a minimum position to reach and later stages require player to place at nr.1 to qualify; as usual in the series great importance is given to power sliding and RRT4 has two different styles, Drift and Grip, and it’s affected by the car.
Multiplayer is supported, for the first time in the series by split-screen but thanks to Link Cable compatibility up to 4 players can join the race.
Other supported peripherals are the PocketStation and the JogCon.
