(GB) Wario Land

The third installment of the “Land” series on Gameboy marks the debut of Wario, a new villain in the Super Mario world.
The gameplay is a bit different from Super Mario Land 2 : there are several themed ares split into several courses, Wario can jump or bump into enemies to knock them down and when in his grown form he can perform a shoulder charge; coins are not used to earn extra lives but to open level exits, activate checkpoints, gamble at the end of each level and the game’s ending varies according to how many total coins the player has.
Wario Land was praised for the new features introduced in the series, the multiple endings and a much more accurate graphics than the previous entries.
