Trouble Witches arrives in 2023 (Switch / PS4)

Trouble Witches is a horizontal shoot’em up originally released for arcades in 2009 by Taito.

Today publisher Rocket Engine has announced, through Konami’s Partner Page set for Tokyo Game Show 2022, that an enhanced version of the original game, titled Trouble Witches Final! will be released in both digital and package versions for Switch and PlayStation 4 in 2023.

It’s not clear if the porting is from the original arcade, the XBLA version released in 2011 as “Trouble Witches Neo” or the PC/Steam version “Trouble Witches Origin” released in 2016, but considering the latter was developed by Studio SiestA which is also indicated as developer for this home console version, probably it’s the Steam port with some additions.
Actually the only new features revealed are 2 new characters and new gameplay modes, so all the detailed info about this release will likely announced during the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.
