TriggerHeart EXELICA port to Switch was announced back in September and yesterday Cosmo Machia, the publisher, has revealed new info about the game.

In addition to the standard Arcade Mode there will be included :

Story Mode, similar to Arcade Mode but more story focused and including various character conversation parts.
Arrange Mode, a higher difficulty mode where the number of enemy bullets are increased significantly and there are no continue; also the score system is different so a different strategy is required compared to the original Arcade Mode.
Internet Ranking Mode, where the player can compete against other players all around the world in the Arcade, Story and Arrange modes mentioned above.
Training Mode, each stage can be practiced and settings can be changed in both Arcade and Arrange modes.

The vertical screen option will also be included to resemble the original arcade version, but it will not be available in Story Mode.
The cover of the game is designed by Kako Kazuhiko and includes a reversible jacket that represents the regular and limited editions of Dreamcast release.

TriggerHeart EXELICA is going to be released only for Switch and only in Japan on 14 December 2023.
