Tatsujin Tokyo, a company founded by Yuge Masatoshi, has unveiled a new game based on Tatsujin, the vertical shoot’em up developed by Masatoshi himself when he was working in Toaplan and released in 1988 for arcades, then ported to Megadrive in 1989 and PC Engine in 1992.
Actually not so much info have been released except for a trailer in which it’s possible to understand that the spaceship has 4 different weapons and there are probably 6 different stages, according to the 6 bosses appearing through the video.
While waiting for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2023 for getting more info, actually the game is planned for a release in 2024 for PlayStation 5, but other systems will be announced sooner or later.
