Slave Zero X is a side scrolling hack and slash with 2.5D graphics developed by Poppy Works and is the prequel of the game originally released in 1999 for PC and Dreamcast (a third person shooter).
The game was announced in September 2023 with a worldwide digital release for Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC but in Japan the game is going to be released also in physical form for Switch and PlayStation 5.
Today Beep Japan, the publisher of the game, has announced that Slave Zero X has been postponed due to Japanese and other Asian languages localization and to further improve the quality of the game but for Xbox Series and PC is still planned to be released on 22 February 2024.
The new release for Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions is set to 11 April 2024 and has support for English language.
