Scarlet Symphony 2 arrives in December

Scarlet Symphony is a gothic horror action game originally released on PC in 2009 and ported to Switch on July 2022 while in September 2022 it was already announced a sequel, but until now any news or pictures have been showed from CFK, the publisher of the game.

Today the Japanese electronic store online sites have been listed Scarlet Symphony 2 (titled “Koumajou Remilia II : Stranger’s Requiem” in Japan) and as the previous title, the character design is made by Akira Banpai and features characters from Tohou Project (the main character is Izayoi Sakuya); the graphics, sound and gameplay have also been improved : Izauoi Sakuya uses a knife for close-range attacks and can move freely in the air for a short period of time, while a “backstep” move has been added to avoid enemy attacks.
In addition some special attacks have been added, such as “Soul Sculpture“, “Flying Kick” and “Backstep Knife” to make the gameplay more stylish.

Scarlet Symphony 2 will be released for Switch on 14 December 2023 in both Normal and Limited editions.
The Limited Edition includes : original cardboard box designed by Akira Banpai, a 36 pages book with illustration collections, the original soundtrack and an acrylic plate designed by Akira Banpai.
