City Connection today opened the page dedicated to the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2023 and one of the title that will be showed at the event is the porting of Assault Suit Leynos 2, released exclusively for Saturn in Japan in 1997.
The porting is part of City Connection’s series “Saturn Tribute” which, as the name suggests, brings some classic shoot’em up title in the Sega Saturn line-up to modern systems.
Assault Suit Leynos 2 is a side scrolling action game where the player can customize robot’s weapons and equipments in order to fight in various battlefields.
The game now can be rewound by a certain amount of time and resumed and also it can be saved at any point.
Assault Suit Leynos 2 Saturn Tribute will be playable at the incoming Tokyo Game Show 2023 and probably more info will be released by City Connection : the game is planned to be released on next year for Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series but they don’t have specified yet if only on digital stores or also in phisycal form.
Multi-language support is also planned but besides English other languages have not yet been specified, even if it is mentioned on the site.
