Radiant Silvergun confirmed retail for Switch

As rumored in September, Superdeluxe will publish Radiant Silvergun for Switch in 2024.

Originally released in 1998 for arcades and Saturn, Radiant Silvergun is a vertical shoot’em up developed by Treasure.
For the first time in more than 25 years the game is going to be released in physical form, Superdeluxe will offer 3 different versions :
Regular edition, available in all shops around Japan
Deluxe edition, available only on Superdeluxe shop
Collector’s edition, available in all shops around Japan

The Regular edition includes a manual and a reversible jacket, the Deluxe edition includes an original cardboard box, a mini magazine, the soundtrack and a trading card while the Collector’s edition includes all the bonuses from the previous version and a set of 6 art cards and a metal figure of Silvergun.

Regarding the game itself, there are 5 different difficulty levels, an additional game mode that can be enjoyed using the rules of “Ikaruga”, the “sequel” of Radiant Silvergun, an online ranking where players can compete with rivals from all over the world for the best high score and the soundtrack arranged by Hitoshi Sakimoto.

Radiant Silvergun will be released in Japan for Switch on 20 June 2024.
