(SWI) Steel Empire Chronicles (Limited)

2D horizontal shoot’em up originally developed by Hot-B and published in 1992 on Megadrive.
The game is set in an alternative 19th century with aircrafts, weaponry, power-ups, environments, enemies and bosses are heavily stylized to steampunk elements that gave to Steel Empire a well defined imprint.
Through the following years the game was ported to Gameboy Advance, in 2004, then on Nintendo 3DS in 2014, but only in digital form and lastly in 2018 on PC, with support for 16:9 screens and featuring a high definition graphics.
The Switch port not only includes all the above versions but also Over Horizon, a horizontal shoot’em up published on Famicom in 1991 which same with Steel Empire the same director: Yoshinori Satake.
Steel Empire Chronicles is a Japanese exclusive release.

The limited edition includes:

– booklet
– original soundtrack (CDx2, all title songs included)
