(SFC) Tetris Battle Gaiden

Tetris Battle Gaiden is a puzzle game developed and published by Bullet Proof Software in 1993.
It might be considered as a spin-off of the series due to the different gameplay which mixes Puyo Puyo and Super Puzzle Fighter features : there are 10 different characters available, each one with their own advantages and disadvantages, and while playing it is possible to counter opponent’s moves if made with a well-timed drop and end matches with ruthless super attacks.
Tetris Battle Gaiden was released only in Japan.
