(SFC) Super Mario Kart

Relesead in 1992, Super Mario Kart introduced a new genre, the kart racing, and with the amazing success in term of sales contributed to push Mario spin-off games, at the time relegated only to Golf.
The game uses the Mode-7 to recreate a pseudo 3D environment, there are 8 characters and 20 tracks all based to Mario series; there are GP Mode and Time Trial mode both available in single and multiplayer, while the Battle Mode is available only in multiplayer.
The score point system, the bonuses that can be picked up during the race, the unlockable 150cc became a classic not only for the series but also influenced many following kart based games.
