(SFC) Star Fox

Rail shooting developed by Argonaut Software and Nintendo and the first game to use the Super FX chip which allowed 3D polygons to run on Super Famicom.
The game uses both first person and third person perspective and let the player to navigate through Cornelia planet with an Arwing, Fox McCloud spacecraft.
Through the levels the player has to destroy enemies, avoid obstacles by using thrusters and retro rockets and sometimes help Fox’s friends (Peppy Hare, Slippy Toad and Falco Lombardi) when the wingmans ask him for assistance.
Star Fox received positive reviews and showed that Super Famicom was able to handle, more or less, 3D graphics.
