(SFC) Final Fight

Released a month later after Super Famicom debut, Final Fight became with Super Mario World one of the killer application for Nintendo’s 16 bit system.
Set in a fictional city called Metro City where the new major, Mike Haggar, has to rescue her daughter kidnapped by a criminal gang that doesn’t stand the new major’s fight against the crime in the city.
The Super Famicom version had some downgrades from the original arcade, only Haggar and Cody are playable, the industrial area is missing and there are less characters on the screen due to the limited hardware.
Final Fight is a classic in the side scrolling beat’em up genre and even if this version is not perfect it’s one of the most beloved game on the system.
