(SFC) Darius Twin

Darius Twin is a horizontal shoot’em up exclusively released on Super Famicom in 1991.
The gameplay is a little different from other titles in the series, when the ship is hit and destroyed all collected power-ups are not lost; there are 5 different power-ups, the pink enhances the main weapon, the green the sub-weapon, the blue adds or improves the force shield and the orange adds one ship to the stock.
To compensate this advantage there are no continues, the game might be a little easy but it’s one of the few shoot’em up on Super Famicom without heavily slow-downs.
Darius Twin features also an interesting cooperative mode and each player has his own separate number of ships.
