In Wangan Dead Heat the core of the game is to win races and impress some girls with drifting skills, gameplay side there are 3 different playable cars, each one with its own statistics based on acceleration, speed, grip and handling and a total of 5 tracks. Besides the tournament mode there is a Time Trial mode and a Head to Head mode against a second player in split-screen.
