(SAT) Donpachi

Donpachi was the first shoot’em up produced by Cave, a company created by former employees of Toaplan.
Released in 1995 in arcades, it was ported a year later to Saturn (and Playstation) and some new features were added.
The game has 5 stages and after completing them the storyline introduces a new mission that will reveal, after the second loop, the true boss of the series; known for its “Get Point System” that multiplies the score if large groups of enemies are destroyed in a short time, the Saturn port added a Score Attack mode, a new Easy difficult level and various display options.
Donpachi was released only in Japan.
