3D racing developed and published by SEGA originally in 1994 for arcades and ported to Saturn a year later.
The second of the two “big titles” converted by SEGA for their new system was not successful as Virtua Fighter in term of final result : Daytona USA for Saturn runs slower than the arcade counterpart, has a noticeable pop-up, but was also “bringing arcades to your home” which was definitely an impressive result in 1995.
The Saturn version allows the player to choose different cars and not only the Hornet as in the arcade version, supports a multiplayer mode with split screen and has a higher quality soundtrack.
