(PSP) Monster Hunter Portable 3rd

Monster Hunter exploded in Japan after being released on PSP and the third chapter on the Sony portable system set various records.
Among the new features added there are the ability to customize the Felyne companions’s equipement, they also have more training options and up to two of them can be taken out on quests; Mountain Stream, a new field, was introduced and all weapons classes from previous game are included, while creation and fortification system for weapons was modified.
The game was a huge success in Japan, PSP sales boosted up for weeks and actually (2020) Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is still the 3rd party top seller game in Japan with almost 5 million copies sold.
