(PS4) R-Type Final 2 Limited Edition

After 12 years since the last episode, R-Type Tactics II on PSP, and almost 20 from its predecessor, R-Type makes a comeback in 2021 with R-Type Final 2.
The developer Granzella worked to improve graphics and visuals and modernized gameplay : the performance-based difficulty system makes the game accessible to new player but also offers a good challenge to the old ones.
Now not only dozens of ships are available as in the PS2 episode, but also each ship can be personalized with decals, different weapons and colours.

The Limited Edition includes a metal figure of the classic R-9A ship from Metal Earth.
