(PS2) Virtual-On Marz

Virtual-On, SEGA’s 3D Mecha action game series returns with the 4th title released on PlayStation 2 in 2003.
The game takes many assets from the previous title, Virtual On Force (released in 2001 and ported on Xbox 360 in 2010) and expands them. The roster is not wide as it was in the previous title but the core gameplay is similar : 2 vs 2 matches, half of the energy can be given to teammate by “rescue tag” maneuver and the first pair to fall loses the round.
A new feature, Dramatic Mode, was added to PS2 port, a story mode with linear sequence of missions with various objectives while the Database mode, which allows to see stories, characters and items, is available only on the Japanese version.
Virtual-On Marz was not released in Europe.
