(PS2) The King of Fighters 2003

2D fighting game developed and published by SNK Playmore at the end of 2003 for arcades and ported to PlayStation 2 in October 2004.
The game introduces a new story arc centered on Ash Crimson while the 3 vs.3 tag team battle is stil present, now the fighters can be changed while playing and not at the beginning of the round; the new feature was the introduction of the Leader, once a character is designed at it, allows the player to execute a special move called “Leader Super Special Move”.
KOF2003 was the last game developed on Neo Geo, the first not released on SEGA consoles and the last to use the yearly counting.
