(PS2) Garou Mark of the Wolves

The first volume of “Neo Geo Online Collection”, a compilation of previous SNK fighting games that features online multiplayer.
Garou MotW was the eighth (and the last, actually) episode from Fatal Fury saga, it’s set 10 years after Geese Howard’s defeat and centered around Rock Howard, Geese’s son and Terry Bogard’s pupil.
The game pushed the Neo Geo hardware to the limit, includes 14 characters, all new except for Terry Bogard. The two-plane battle system was removed, the “Tactical Offense Position” was introduced and it’s a special area of the life gauge that let the player to perform stronger attacks while the “Just Defend” system rewards player when they successfully block an attack at the last moment while the life gauge is at minimum.
It was released only in Japan.
