(PS1) Tekken 2

In the middle of the 90’s Namco and SEGA battled for the dominance in fighting games, first in arcades and then on Playstation and Saturn.
Tekken was a huge success so Namco worked hard to make the sequel even better : some features was kept, such as 2D background and infinite playing stage, there were some attack reversals, back throws, chain throws and sidesteps added for particular characters.
There were also added Survival Mode, Team Battle Mode and Time Attack Mode that will become the standard in the following releases. Tekken 2 features 16 characters from the previous title and 8 new, some of them only available after finishing the game with a specific character.
