(PS1) Soul Edge

Weapon based 3D fighting game developed and published by Namco for arcades in 1995 and ported to PS1 a year later.
The story is centered around a mysterious blade, called Soul Edge, which gives extreme power to who can wield it.
The PlayStation port is based on Ver.II of the game, which added Hwang to the roster while Cervantes became playable and Guard Impacts and Air Combos were introduced.
Exclusively for PS1 there were added 5 characters including SoulEdge, the final boss; each character has a new costume, there was an opening CGI cinematic and an ending one for each character and the Edge Master mode was added, where the player has to fight with some handicap rules but being rewarded with new weapons.
