(PS1) RayStorm

Vertical shoot’em up from Taito, originally released for arcades in 1996 and ported to PS1 in 1997.
It’s the second title in the “Ray” series but chronogically is the last because RayCrisis, the last one, is a prequel to RayForce, known as Layer Section and ported to Saturn. Complicated ? Yes, it is.
The player can choose among two ships both armed with a laser cannon and missiles, the latter can be lock onto multiple targets to create a powerful combo shoot.
Unlike the previous title the graphics use polygons and besides the Arcade Mode, the Extra Mode offers enhanced graphics, more and different enemies, modified bosses and higher difficulty.
