Parasite Eve 2 is an action RPG developed and published by Squaresoft in 1999.
Set several years after the first episode, Aya Brea still has to faces Neo-Mitochondrial creatures but the gameplay now is more focused on survival horror genre while the battles switched to real time and the area of action is less restrictive; the developers also decreased the transition between exploration and battles and readjusted the controls in order to be more user-friendly.
