(PS1) Final Fantasy VII

Released in January 1997, it can be safely said that many thing changed from that day.
Final Fantasy VII was the first in the series not coming on Nintendo systems and it heavily contributed to the worldwide success of Playstation; it was also the first using 3D polygon graphics and full motion videos while introducing new features like sci-fi elements in the story and Materia and Limit Breaks in the gameplay.
Undoubtedly a landmark and surely one of the most beloved game in the genre.
