(PS1) Final Fantasy IX

The last Final Fantasy episode for PlayStation was released by Squaresoft in 2000.
It was a step back in term of background, departing from futuristic settings and a more medieval and fantasy style similar to earlier games.
The gameplay and combat system have a simple learning curve compared to previous titles released on PS1 and this was highly appreciated by the consumers, despite sales were not as high as FFVII and FFVIII, Final Fantasy IX is considered one of the best title in the series ever made.
