(PCE) Wonder Momo

Action fighting game developed and published by Namco originally for arcades in 1987 and ported to PC Engine in 1989.
The game is set inside a live stage show where the player controls a girl who acts as Momo and has to fight various enemies; by doing this she builds up the “Wonder Meter” and when filled a tornado will appear, turning her into Wonder Momo; while she is into this status she gets some super powers and can throw a Wonder Hoop to enemies.
Wonder Momo is filled with humorous situations, it’s like a Ultraman parody, and fanservice and was praised for being a faithful conversion from the arcade.
Released only in Japan.
