(PCE) Volfied

The successor of Qix was published by Taito in 1989 for arcades and ported to PC Engine the same year (remaining exclusive to the platform until 1991).
The gameplay is similar to its predecessor, the player moves a space ship in four direction and by pressing a button it starts to draw a line and when the shape is closed the area is claimed; a big alien is floating around the stage and the goal is to claim at least the 80% of the playable area in order to defeat it, now the boss is followed by some smaller enemies that follows the lines drawn by the player and another new feature are the grey boxes which randomly appear and grant the player with some power-ups.
Volfied was released only in Japan.
