2D horizontal shoot’em up developed and published by Namco originally for arcades in 1988 and ported to PC Engine a year later.
The player controls a scientist called Yuichiro Tomai and his attempt to rescue his girlfriend kidnapped by the evil Dr. Kubota. Killing a group of enemies grants the player with some crystals that can be exchanged for special weapons and extra lives that can be used through the seven stages available in the game.
Pac-Man has a cameo in the game starring as a shield that protects the player from enemy bullets.
