Football games focused on 1998 World Cup and developed by Konami Osaka, the team behind the previous “World Soccer” games, and best known in the West as “International Superstar Soccer 98“.
There are 52 national teams available and 6 All Stars ones that can be unlocked by winning the World League Mode. Other modes available are Open Game (the classic friendly match), International Cup (a team must qualify to the World Cup), Scenario (16 situations with a match in progress), Penalty Kick Mode and Training.
Despite the lack of the official license the game was highly praised for its addictive and realistic (for the time) gameplay.
