(MD) Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Released in 1992, Sonic 2 introduced a new character, Tails, which can be used as second player.
Other new features are the “spin dash”, which let the character to curl in a ball and spin while stationary, giving a speed boost, and the “Special Stages” which are unlocked when the player collect 50 rings and passes a checkpoint.
Featuring new character, levels, moves, stages, more speed and better graphic compared to the prequel, Sonic 2 was highly praised after the release and it’s considered one of the best game available on Megadrive.
