(MD) Golden Axe II

Golden Axe II was not released for arcades but only to Megadrive in 1991.
Ax Battler, Tyris Flare, and Gilius Thunderhead return to save the people from a new clan of evil warriors led by lord Dark Guld.
The game includes six different levels while the seventh is the last battle against Dark Guld and adds new attacks and an overhauled magic system : this time the player can choose how many potions when pressing the magic button and the magic attacks also where changed from Golden Axe.
Golden Axe II was well received but a little criticized for being not so much different from its famous predecessor.
