Originally released on Gameboy in 1997, “Donkey Kong Land III” was ported to Gameboy Color in 2000.
“Land” series is the portable version of the main appeared on Super Famicom and usually the story takes place directly or immediately after the main chapter.
Levels and story are different while the characters and enemies are the same, due to technical hardware limitation both characters are not displayed on screen and to switch them you have to press Select.
Unlike the original Gameboy version, this one was released only in Japan.
