Published in Japan as TwinBee Da! it was released by Konami in 1990.
This version is a remake of the original game where the player has to rescue Dr. Cinnamon from evil alien forces.
The game goes through 6 different levels and as typical for the series (and then reprised in Parodius series) power-ups can be obtained by shooting some flying bells.
Pop’n TwinBee support cooperative gameplay through the GameLink cable and it was not released in North America.
