(GB) Mario’s Picross

Puzzle game developed by Jupiter and Ape and published by Nintendo in 1995.
The game is based on nonogram logic puzzles where the player has to discover a specific drawn from a puzzle grid based on the indication showed on each column and row, the numbers indicate how many spaces must be chiseled for each column and row; if the player incorrectly chisels a space the remaining time is deducted: 2 min for the first error, 4 min for the second, 8 min for the third and succeeding errors.
Unlike the West where the game was a failure, in Japan Mario’s Picross had good sales and other 2 titles were released, one on Super Famicom (1995) and the official sequel on Gameboy (1996).
