(FC) Shinjinrui : The New Type

Vertical shoot’em up developed by Hudson but unlike the North American version in Japan it was published by Rix Soft in 1987.
Set in a prehistoric world, the player controls Riki who can jump or shoot weapons; in the beginning Riki throws only rocks, which have a limited range, but progressing in the game will allow the player to find other weapons such as axes, boomerangs and torches.
The first 3 worlds include a single stage with checkpoints while the 4th world is divided in 4 different stages without checkpoints.
Shinjinrui was not released in Europe.
