(FC) Karnov

Developed by Data East and released for arcades in 1987, Karnov was ported to Famicom by Namco at the end of the same year.
Starring Karnov, a big, muscled, ex circus strongman from the eastern Russia, on a quest to search for a big treasure; the game includes 9 different levels (but 4 and 8 are totally different compared to the original arcade), Karnov can shoot and picking up red orbs through the stage will upgrade is shooting power.
The Famicom port allows the player to get two hits before Karnov dies instead of just one but the limited continues available make this version more difficult than the North American one.
Karnov was not released in Europe.
