(DC) The King of Fighters Dream Match 99

The 5th entry in the SNK fighting games series was relesaed in 1998 first for arcades and then for Neo Geo systems.
All characters in previous games return, including those who last appeared in 1995 release; the gameplay didn’t change too much from the previous year, Advance and Extra styles were not changed but now when a character loses a round the losing team gets a handicap in its favor, Power Gauge stock increases to one in Advanced and the time for charging power gauge to maximum level is shortened in Extra mode.
The Dreamcast port was released in 1999 and this affected the title, the game was perfectly ported and now runs at 60 frames per second while the background was remade in 3D; the game can be connected to a couple of Neo Geo Pocket games : King of Fighters R2 and download point to get particular skills to characters in the handheld version, SNK vs. Capcom and characters can get Olympics Points.
KOF Dream Match 99 was not released in Europe, VGA output is not supported.
