(DC) Capcom vs. SNK 2

The “Match of the Millenium” was a hit and consequently a year later, in 2001, Capcom didn’t miss the chance to release a sequel.
The events are set a year after the first title and the roster has been expanded up to 48 characters, including some from other titles than Street Fighter and The King of Fighters series.
The biggest innovation in gameplay was the introduction of 6 buttons system more similar to Capcom titles and in general is derived from Street Fighter Zero series.
Capcom vs. SNK 2 was well received but some critics were made regarding the graphics because Capcom didn’t update all the roster and some character graphics looks outdated compared to the latest ones.
It was released only in Japan.
