Meg’s Monster is a short, story-driven JRPG developed by Odencat Inc. and originally published in digital form in 2023.
The player controls Roy, who begins the game with 99,999 HP and is virtually untouchable, but the real concern is keeping Meg safe, a lost little girl with a terrible power: if she starts wailing in fear, a blood-red hue washes over the sky, and the earth itself begins to tremble and quake, so it’s game over in every sense.
The player will have to master the unique mechanics and mini-games baked into each battle, all while protecting Meg and using her favourite toys to keep her pacified.
Today Odencat Inc. announced that Meg’s Monster is coming in physical form in Japan with a release date set for April 2025.
Alongside the regular version a limited edition is also planned and will include a set of finger puppets representing Golan and Roy, “Meg’s great adventure” art book and the soundtrack on CD.
This package version will also feature the upcoming DLC “Memories of Monsters” which adds 2 more hours of gameplay and support for multi-languages (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian).
