After 3 year Nintendo’s event “Nintendo Live” returns, this time held in Tokyo and not in Kyoto as it was in 2019.
This year the event is centered around Splatoon 3 which will be released a month prior and includes the “Start Dash” Tournament, but other popular games will let players to confront each other : Smash Bros players will be able to partecipate to the “Smash Ball Cup” Tournament, the “Tag Challenge” is dedicated to Nintendo Switch Sports and Mario Kart 8 will have an online challenge.
Beside the game tournaments there will be some music live events dedicated to Splatoon 3 and Animal Crossing.
Nintendo Live 2022 will be held in Tokyo Big Site set in Odaiba from 8 to 9 October and due to corona virus restrictions the access will be granted only to those who have been selected by a lottery : there are two slots available, both allow the access to the show while the Playing Admission let the visitors to join the various tournaments.
The application will be available online from 27 July for Playing Admission and from 1 September for General Admission
