Macross Shooting Insight is a multi-directional shoot’em up originally announed on August 2023 by Bushiroad and planned to be released on 25 January 2024.
The game includes both horizontal and vertical sections, 45 characters from 6 series (Macross, Macross Plus, Macross 7, Macross Zero, Macross F and Macross Delta), but also stages, characters and music from “Macross : Do Your Remember Love?” (published on Saturn and PlayStation in 1997) which is sold as a separate DLC for digital versions.
Besides the normal version that comes with a Weiss Schwarz PR Card if you pre-order the game, there is also a Limited Edition which includes a booklet and an illustration acrylic plate.
Bushiroad has announced that the game has been postponed “in order to further improve the quality” and the new release date is set for 14 March 2024.
