M2 ShootTriggers presents : Zero Fire

Yesterday M2 held an online event in which they presented the next entry in their “ShootTriggers” series dedicated to Toaplan games.

The name of this new volume is composed by 2 of the titles included in this compilation, Zero Wing and Hellfire.
Zero Wing was originally released for arcades in 1989 and ported to Megadrive in 1991 and PC Engine in 1992, Hellfire was also released for arcades in 1989 and ported to Megadrive in 1990 and PC Engine in 1991.

The compilation includes the original arcade games and also all the console ports available as DLC for the digital version, Alternative Play Mode and Simultaneous Play Mode, and Super Easy Mode where the difficulty level is adjusted on player’s skills.

Besides Zero Wing and Hellfire another game is included, Horror Story (known in the West as Demon’s World), a side scrolling run and gun game released for arcades in 1989 and ported to PC Engine in 1993.

Zero Fire will be released exclusively in Japan for Switch and PS4 on 20 July.
