Irem Collection vol.3 physical version set for July

Tozai Games have announced today that the 3rd entry in their “Irem Collection” series will be released in physical version in Japan this summer.

This compilation was originally released last year in digital version for various systems, Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series family and PC and includes 3 horizontal or side scrolling shoot’em ups :
– Mr. Heli, released for arcades in 1987
– Mystic Riders, released for arcades in 1992
– Dragon Breed, released for arcades in 1989

Not only the original Japanese and Wester arcade versions are included for each title, Mr. Heli will include also the PC Engine port released in 1989.
Regarding the features, a Rewind function and an instant Save / Load mode are implemented while graphically the CRT scanlines option are available.

Irem Collection vol.3 will be released only for Switch and PlayStation 5 in Japan from 10 July 2025.
A limited edition is also planned and includes an art book, the original soundtrack (one CD for each title) and a set of flyers (one for each title).
