Irem Collection vol.1 release delayed to March

Irem Collection vol.1 is a compilation of 3 games: Image Fight, Image Fight 2 and X-Multiply.

All games include different versions, Image Fight (Japan Arcade version, US Arcade version, Famicom version, NES, version, PC Engine version), Image Fight 2 (PC Engine version) and X-Multiply (Japan Arcade version, US Arcade version) while all games feature worldwide online rankings, rewind functions, cheats for infinite lives, customization like difficult level or number of ships available for arcade versions and many video options like selectable wallpapers, display ratio and scanlines.

The game was planned to be released for Switch, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in digital form and Switch and PlayStation 5 in physical form on 22 February 2024 but today Tozai, the publisher of the game, announced that due to some problems regarding the contents of the limited edition, the release will be delayed for 2 weeks, on 7 March 2024.
